I am excited to share our latest updates and initiatives. This month, we build on our mission of empowering LGBTQIA+ and allied communities through access to capital, mentorship, movement building, and community.

What's New: Strengthening Innovation

Our focus on supporting the next generation of diverse innovators remains at the heart of our work. This month, we welcomed our sixth cohort of the LGBT+ VC fellowship program, one of the largest VC training programs for aspiring investors. 100% of our participants are queer, trans or BIPOC. We aim to provide them with the tools they need to thrive in their careers. We’re always looking for additional guest speakers including VCs & founders, sponsors, and mentors, who will invest in tomorrow’s leadership. Email [email protected]

Expanding Our Partner Network: A Call for Partnerships

In line with our commitment to driving enduring change, we are actively seeking partners for our 2025 initiatives, including our Annual Summit. If you are an organization, philanthropist, investor, or advocate, we’d love to explore how we can collaborate to drive meaningful impact together.

Looking Ahead: Events and Opportunities

• Witches & Pitches with Foley Hoag in New York City 🎃 (October 21st): Our signature Halloween celebration bringing together funders and founders. Costumes are encouraged 👻

• Witches & Pitches with Foley Hoag in Boston 🎃 (October 29th): Who says pitching investors has to be scary? Come join the LGBT VC Boston community for a friendly meetup with other founders and funders. This is your chance to practice your pitch if you're a founder and meet fellow investors if you're a VC. Costumes are encouraged. 🕸🦇

• Election Night Live Watch Party & Fundraiser (NYC) 🗳️ (November 5th): We will hosting an election watch party with VCs to welcome our first women President. LGBT+ VC is proud partner of Pride to the Polls, a coalition of nonpartisan LGBTQ+ organizations to shape discussions on public policy, fight for equality and advance LGBTQ+ rights through voting.
